Maureen O’Donnell is a Registered Nurse First Assistant and Board-Certified Nurse Coach with over 20 years of nursing experience and a special focus in perioperative services as well as overall health and wellness.

Mrs. O’Donnell started her clinical nursing career at the bedside on medical/surgical as well as telemetry units prior to seeking training and certification to work in the operating room. From there, she went on to further specialize as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) - a role that serves as the direct counterpart to the surgeon during procedures as well as pre- and post-operatively. Her experience includes (but is not limited to) the following areas of surgical specialization: general, plastics, ob/gyn, urology, robotics, cardiac, pediatric, pediatric cardiac, neurology, ENT, orthopedics, podiatric, sports medicine, spinal, vascular, and transgender.

Mrs. O’Donnell is the co-owner of M&N Holistic. M&N Holistic is a comprehensive health and wellness practice owned and operated by nurses. There, clients can receive comprehensive support for their wellness concerns as they seek to improve their healthspan. They offer nutrition counseling, fitness support, personal training, life coaching, yoga, aesthetics (injectables, microneedling, dermaplaning, etc.), massage, group/private/corporate workshops, and more.
Mrs. O’Donnell is also the sole practitioner in her private nurse coaching practice where she focuses on supporting clients in an all-inclusive nature. She specializes in work-life balance and undoing burnout and fatigue. She is board certified by the American Holistic Nursing Credentialing Corporation (AHNNC).

At Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc., Maureen O’Donnell consults with clients in matters involving healthcare related concerns and/or patient management; medical/nursing standards, practice, and codes of ethics; surgical services; healthcare personnel; hospital/healthcare policies and procedures; medication errors; patient safety issues; safe staffing ratios; nursing/healthcare practitioner burnout; compassion fatigue syndrome; medical-legal observance; provider/patient compliance; and many other healthcare related safety, compliance, and management concerns.
