Paul K. Goldberg, P.E., is the founder and President of Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc. Mr. Goldberg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering with over forty years of engineering experience. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Goldberg worked at the Boeing Company which used to design and manufacture large rotary wing aircraft (helicopters) for military and civilian use.

At Boeing, he evaluated aerospace components for conformance to specifications, conducted quality control assessments, and performed technical audits of machine shop production operations for aerospace suppliers. In addition, he performed the failure analysis of components from both test and field aircraft and participated in numerous aircraft accident evaluations. In conjunction with these responsibilities, he developed the electron microscope fracture standards for helicopter transmission components including high-speed gearing.

After entering private practice in 1970, he worked with attorneys and insurance companies to determine the failure causes of metal components in consumer, commercial, and industrial service that were involved in personal injury and property damage litigation matters. In addition, he evaluated the adequacy of machine guarding for industrial production machinery and conducted aircraft, automotive, and railroad accident evaluations.

In 1980, he added the disciplines of Civil and Mechanical engineering to his group, and created a firm that has evolved into the present day forensic consulting engineering firm. At Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc., Mr. Goldberg evaluates components and equipment involved in product liability, personal injury and subrogation matters and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm.
