Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc. is pleased to announce that Gregg W. Frazier, P.E. has joined the firm. Mr. Frazier is a Professional Engineer and a graduate from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He has 33 years of experience in highway and roadway design and has worked with The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and many highway roadway design engineering firms throughout his career.
Mr. Frazier’s experience includes working on both freeways and roadways for initial design, construction, and expansion. In addition, he was responsible for the design of two lane roadways and for culvert design for stream crossings. His experience also includes paving, grading, construction management, drainage, construction plans, as well as the design of bicycle paths and pedestrian plazas.
At Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Mr. Frazier will be evaluating interstate, highway and roadway design involving accidents, construction project management, disputes, and maintenance. Specific responsibilities include, traffic accident investigation, construction work-zone incidents, the evaluation of traffic safety, controls, signals, signage, and railroad crossings. Additional responsibilities include parking lot design involving accidents, utility identification and relocation, storm water drainage, soil erosion, and the maintenance and operation of streets, roadways, highways and intersections including lighting. Other responsibilities include the evaluation of slip, trip and fall incidents, bicycle path safety, and ADA compliance.
Mr. Frazier joins our well-established Civil Engineering Group that evaluates premises accidents in industrial, commercial, and residential facilities, construction accidents and defects, structural collapses and building failures including roof collapses, and the analysis of walking surfaces utilizing biomechanical engineering technology.
