CESI EXPANDS INTO FLORIDA WITH CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT EXPERTISE

With a strong, new expert in construction management, Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc. expands into the Fort Lauderdale-Miami, Florida area.

Larry Konefsky has extensive experience and expertise in construction management for commercial and residential construction. His experience includes the evaluation of construction defects, scheduling, project management, and construction workplace safety. In addition, his commercial construction experience includes high-rise condominiums, golf courses and wastewater treatment plants where he was responsible for project management, subcontractor management, and construction safety. He was the owner and principal of a construction firm that constructed and renovated residential and commercial projects as well as custom homes.

At Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Mr. Konefsky evaluates construction safety, accidents, claims, defects, scheduling delays, contract disputes and subcontractor responsibilities. He also is involved in premises liability issues dealing with stairways, steps, walkway surfaces, and structural failures. In addition, he evaluates roofs, construction materials, exterior systems and finishes, interior finishes, windows, and doors.

He has completed training in Occupational Safety & Health for the Construction Industry provided by the US Department of Labor, OSHA. Mr. Konefsky is a licensed professional certified general contractor in the State of Florida where he evaluates 558 Statute matters. He is also a professional general building contractor in the State of California. Mr. Konefsky is part of our Construction Accident Group that includes civil engineers, architects, and biomechanical engineers.
