Gary Sheesley, P.E.

Gary Sheesley, P.E., has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and thirty-five years of engineering and design expertise.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sheesley had his own company for fifteen years. In that role he utilized his knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as expertise with material handling, pumps, valves, pressure vessels, air handling equipment and process heating equipment, to design and build custom machinery for various industries. In the twenty years prior to starting his business, Mr. Sheesley was Engineering Manager at four different manufacturing companies and gained experience with industrial process equipment, abrasive finishing equipment, compressors, pressure vessels, and high speed packaging equipment.

At Consulting Engineers & Scientists, Inc., Mr. Sheesley’s responsibilities include the failure analysis of operating machinery, the investigation and evaluation of machine design and safety, production machinery, machine guarding, pressure vessels, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, plumbing and piping systems, and codes/standards compliance. Additional responsibilities include the evaluation of toys, bicycles, exercise equipment, power tools, ladders, automatic doors, materials handling and aerial lift equipment.
